Frequently Asked Questions

What is giclée printing?

Giclée printing is a premium fine art printing process using archival pigment inks and high-quality acid free stocks to produce rich colour, sharp detail and long-lasting prints. It’s the preferred choice for artists wanting gallery-quality reproductions.

What file format should I submit for printing?

We recommend submitting your artwork as a TIFF or high-quality JPEG (quality 10 or above). These formats help preserve detail and colour for the best print results.

What resolution does my file need to be?

For the highest quality print, files should be supplied at 300 DPI at the final print size. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us and we can check your file before printing.

How do I upload my artwork?

You can easily upload your files through our upload page on the website. If you have larger files or need assistance, just get in touch and we’ll help guide you through the process.

Do you offer proofs before printing?

Yes, we offer proofs at a discounted rate so you can check colour and quality before proceeding with the final print. It’s a great option for important artworks or first-time orders.

Which paper is best for my artwork?

Choosing the right paper depends on the style, texture, and feel of your artwork. We offer a carefully selected range of premium fine art papers and economical media options to suit different artworks and budgets. From smooth matte finishes to richly textured archival papers, each choice enhances colour, detail, and depth in its own way. If you’re unsure which paper is best for your work, we’re happy to help guide you. Explore our website to view our full paper selection.

What’s your maximum print size?

We can print up to 1600 mm wide, with custom lengths available depending on the material. This allows us to produce everything from small fine art prints to large statement pieces.
